Neon ink. Words that shake and shimmy. Wood type – skinny, wide and in between – with a distinctive distressed patina. All the style and snap of Globe, still promoting everything from concerts to Hello Kitty.
Globe, now at MICA, continues to make posters, drawing on the images and techniques of its heyday and reinterpreting that iconic style for a new era. Globe also licenses elements of its collection and creates new paper and cloth goods using Globe tools.
